　　六、在SSAT阅读中我们经常遇到的问题就是读不完，大多数人把这归因于阅读速度，那么在阅读方法上我们是不是也存在问题呢?

　　如果在SSAT阅读中我们不分重点的阅读、全部阅读，那么在SSAT考场上有限的时间内很难完成题目。我们需要做的是区分哪些地方可以略读。一般来讲，分论点的例子可以不读或者略读。因为例子永远是为SSAT文章或者段落主旨服务的。因此，一般情况下，如果问题再在问例子的作用，答案则一般在这个例子前或者后的概述性话中。

　　As Philadelphia grew from a small town into a city in the first half of the eighteenth century, it became an increasingly important marketing center for a vast and growing agricultural hinterland.
