　　一、主谓不一致

　　例子：She are a good friend of mine that I has known for a long time.

　　改为：She is a good friend of mine that I have known for a long time.

　　错误分析：注意主谓搭配需要保持一致。

　　二、并列结构不对称

　　例1：I like to eat Japanese food and eating Thai food.

　　改为：I like to eat Japanese food and Thai food.

　　例2：I was able to raise my test score by studying hard and I read lots of books

　　改为:I was able to raise my test score by studying hard and reading lots of books.

　　错误分析：当用连词连接几个并列成分时，并列部分需要在形式和结构上保持一致。

　　三、表达笨拙 awkward

　　例子：Due to the fact of his being late, he missed the beginning of the movie.

　　改为: Due to his being late, he missed the beginning of the movie.

　　错误分析：“due to the fact of…”表达太啰嗦，赘余

　　四、非正式文体-缩写

　　例1：I’m tired. 改为：I am tired.

　　例2：I can’t help you. 改为：I cannot help you.

　　例3：I’ll’ve read thirty books by the end of the year.

　　改为：I will have read thirty books by the end of the year.

　　错误分析：在正式文体里不要使用缩写形式，如can’t, don't, it's, we'll, they've, 等等。而应当使用cannot, do not, it is, we will, they have, 等等。

　　五、非正式文体-滥用低级词汇

　　例子：When I got home, I got tired, so I got a book and got into bed.

　　改为：When I arrived home, I was totally exhausted. Therefore I took out a book and lay on my bed.

　　错误分析：在写作当中，“get”一词太含糊不清和不正式.因此，建议使用描述更精准accurate和具体specific的词汇。

　　六、残缺句 Sentence fragment

　　例子：Micronesia’s economy is growing. Because their economists are working hard to improve the economy.

　　改为：Micronesia’s economy is growing, because their economists are working hard to improve the economy.

　　错误分析：这是中国学生在写作过程中，常犯的错误之一。 “Because their economists are working hard to improve the economy.”是典型的不完整句子。

　　七、错误信息 incorrect information

　　例子：I am going to see a movie with my friend.

　　改为：I am going to see a movie with one of my friends.

　　错误分析: 原句表达让人误认为笔者仅有一位朋友。

　　八、生造词

　　例子：Computers are very helpful and advantageable.

　　改为：Computers are very helpful and advantageous.

　　错误分析：advantageable 不是英语中的词汇。

　　九、滥用介词

　　例1：I would like to discuss about something important that you mentioned about to me during yesterday.

　　改为：I would like to discuss something important that you mentioned to me yesterday.

　　例2：We went to downtown yesterday to buy a watch.

　　改为：We went downtown yesterday to buy a watch.

　　错误分析：在TOEFL Junior写作当中介词的使用情况也是十分让考生棘手的一个问题。通常像downtown, home, there, here 这些副词前面是不需要使用任何介词的。
