| 主题 | Topic：发现了一大批ocean animals死在了一起 有几个theories |

Reading: 1. 原来这块地方是个lagoon，因为地震啥的会堵塞河口，动物就被渴死了； 2. 一些virus导致他们死了，比如现在就有个virus影响了dolphine； 3. algae会分泌一些toxic，如果很多fish吃了就会发生toxic concentration，一些位于食物链高级的动物就会死。 |

Lecture:反驳 1.如果这个地儿的ocean water evaporate还会留下mineral，但是并没有发现mineral； 2.一个virus只能影响一个species，少数情况下它能影响两个closely related species，但是不可能同时影响mammals和fish species； 3.plant-eating species不会受影响，这些fossils里还发现了large mammals他们主要吃植物，那他们体内的toxic应该不足以导致他们死。 |
